Miss Makaela Lubrano designed and is sponsoring the Catering Cares Project. She was our 2022 Maryssa's Ambassador award recipient, a 2024 St. Joseph Academy Graduate, and a Girl Scout Gold Award Recipient.
After seeing firsthand the stressors that medically fragile families endure, Makaela chose an
underrepresented group to focus on with the mission of eradicating hunger.
Her goal is to positively impact the medically fragile community during one of the most stressful times a parent or caregiver can encounter, bedside to their sick child. The project aims to provide monthly meals to a pediatric rehabilitation facility in our area, a small act that can make a significant difference.
With the team's help at Maryssa's Mission Foundation, we identified a location. Now, Makaela is seeking financial support to stabilize and grow her project's impact.
Please consider giving as little as $20 to help fund the Catering Cares program. $20 provides a meal for a family with 1 child. Would you like to give more? $25 provides a meal to a family of 4. $50 allows us to provide 8 meals. $100= 16 meals. Would you like to bless an entire unit at the children's pediatric rehabilitation facility? Our relationship with our catering partners allows us to feed 50 individuals for under $500 ($ 450)!!!
